Virginia E. Villafañe

I obtained my degree as Licentiate in Biological Sciences from the Universidad Nacional de la Patagonia San Juan Bosco (UNPSJB, Trelew, Argentina) and then I continued my post-graduate studies at Scripps Institution of Oceanography (USA) and the University of Groningen (The Netherlands). I am a researcher from CONICET since 1999, working at the Estación de Fotobiología Playa Unión. Besides my research activities (see CV) I am a member of the Playa Unión Foundation as Secretary since 1997.
