- Promote and encourage activities related to the Estación de Fotobiología de Playa Unión, by means of financial aid to scientific, cultural and educative projects, and also communicate these activities and its results.
- Give administrative assistance to the Director of the Estación de Fotobiología de Playa Unión.
- Contribute to the maintainance of equiprments and laboratories.
- Contribute to the maintainance of library, study rooms and other elements needed for scientific, cultural and educative research.
- Contribute to consolidate the definitive instalations of the Estación de Fotobiología Playa Unión.
- Facilitate scientific, cultural and educative scholarships to develop specific subjects studied in the Estación de Fotobiología.
- Promote the capacitation of technicians and specialized personal.
- Colaborate with the Direction of the EFPU, in the organization of scientific, cultural and educative meetings, at regional, national and international level.
- Promote and divulgate the activities of the EFPU in the educative community of the region.
- Contribute, with the new building of EFPU, to increase and widen the touristic offer and attractiveness of the region.
- Contribute, to expand the activities to other areas of human knowledge in the future.
- Promote and develop scientific, cultural and educative activities at regional, national and international level.
