Dr. Donat-P Häder, Friedrich Alexander Universität (FAU), Germany

Dr. Donat Häder made eight visits to carry out research work at the EFPU in the period 2000-2013, which focused mainly on evaluating the effects of ultraviolet radiation on macroalgae on the Patagonian coast. Other specific studies were also carried out along the Chubut river, aimed at determining its physical-chemical-biological conditions.

The work carried out by Dr. Häder in the Patagonian region was financed by Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas, Secretaría de Ciencia y Técnica / BMBF (Germany), Fundación Antorchas, Agencia Nacional de Promoción Científica y Tecnológica (ANPCyT) / DAAD (Germany) and Soriano S.A.
