We carried out experiments with researchers from Umeå University, Sweden.
During the month of July we carried out experiments in the area of the Bothnian Gulf – Baltic Sea (Sweden) devoted to evaluate the effects of global change (mainly focusing on the joint effects of solar radiation, temperature, dissolved organic matter and pH) on the microbial loop in this region. The studies have beeen supported by the Swedish Secretariat for Environmental Earth System Sciences (SSEESS) (in collaboration with the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, FORTE, Formas, Vetenskapsrådet and Sida), the Agencia Nacional de Promoción Científica y Tecnológica (ANPCyT, Argentina), CONICET and Fundación Playa Unión.
