Measurements of physical and bio-optical variables at Ría Lagartos, México.

During December 2014 field work was carried out at Ría Lagartos, in the transition Gulf of México – Caribbean Sea, México.  These investigations aimed to characterize the area, from the bio-optical and physical point of view, to obtain a baseline to perform studies about the effects of climate change on plankton.  This RAMSAR site has a species interest, as it constitutes a unique refugee for numerous bird species.
