We worked with Dr. Anastazia Banaszak, from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
In the month of November we were visited by Dr. Anastazia Banaszak, from the Academic Unit of Reef Systems, Puerto Morelos (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México) with whom we carried out intensive work aimed at assessing the effects of vertical mixing produced by extreme wind events on phytoplankton from the Patagonian region. During her stay at Playa Unión, Dr. Banaszak also gave a conference at the EFPU, describing the activities she carries out in her Institution in relation to the importance of Photobiology for the study of corals.
