We congratulate Paula Bermejo who obtained her Ph.D. in Biological Sciences.
Paula Bermejo, EFPU fellow, defended her thesis Joint effects of solar radiation, nutrients and vertical mixing on phytoplankton of the Patagonia region, obtaining the title of Dr. in Biological Sciences of the Universidad Nacional del Comahue. The thesis was supervised by Drs. Walter Helbling and Virginia Villafañe, and the experimental works were conducted in full at the EFPU during the period 2013-2018. This study evaluated the multiple effects of variables that are being affected by global change, and that may have repercussions on the higher levels of the aquatic food webs of the Patagonian region.
